Photographer's Note
casares..on the hill and in the valley at the same time
greatly developed since i saw it last..but the bar and restaurant at the top of the hill still does a nice steak and chorizo in rocket fuel sauce..all very pleasant with a few lagers to cool the palate

Hello Geof,
I like the tightly cropped scene with all these white houses huddled around the bottom of the hill with the old town on the top. I like the framing from the foreground trees which contrast very nicely with the white houses and red roofs. Excellent clarity and nice tones. Pity about the pesky scaffolding around the tower - no consideration for photographers, some people ;-)

Hallo Geof!
A wonderful and amazing view! At the first glance one only notices a chaos of houses, but I think there's a system in it. I can imagine that this is a wonderful place - and your comment affirms this.
Greetings from warm and sunny Germany!

Hi Geof, Great shot of a pleasant looking town. You did well to not overexpose the bright whites in the sunlight. It is a shame that the modern building was buit on top of the hill, as it takes away from the scene presented by the traditional buildings in the rest of the village. Did you consider cropping it? cheers, Steve
