Photographer's Note
Now, in the breakwater.
The waves are more furious. They attack the rocks, they try to climb the rocks. If they could they would arrive until us.
What I must do? Perhaps be nearest of the waves?
In two days the answer.
About this one, I like the composition: a vertical composition with a blue colour what dominates the photo. The line of the horizont divides the photo and the breakwater draws an, for me, interesting “punto de fuga” (sorry, I don’t know how is in english, this is a point of escape, but I don’t think that would be correct in english).
After, the humans shadows and the reflections over the ground also likes to me.
And, of course, the wave crashing against the breakwater!.
I hope you like it.

Carlos, simplemente GENIAL!

Buen trabajo
Un saludo!

A simple but excellent composition. Well timed for the crashing wave, which we can see reflected on the wet breakwater. One tiny complaint; the horizon is not quite level, but I'll forgive that for the superb timing.

Hi Carlos,
A dynamic shot caught at the decisive moment. I love the play of light and shadow in the foreground and your use of the vertical format to lead the eye forward to the waves. The various hues of the walking surface also enhance the scene. Fine work, Carlos.

Hi Carlos. What a cool shot this is. The dynamics are off-the-chart. You might be able to crop some of the upper most area of the sky. Very nice catch Carlos!

Hi Carlos,
I am glad you included a dark shadow line in the middle of the big gap left between the wave and yourself, but what I would really like here is a bigger wave for the dimension you have presented, meaning that perhaps I would like to see the same wave with a longer lens ( Punto de fuga remaining intact ) because getting closer would mean getting wet.
Another technical aspect would be to take a darker picture and save the wave for more details while lightening the rest of the picture in PS. Nevertheless, the sharp and neat view, and the wave caught at the decisive moment make it a very good picture.
Wish you a nice week - Izzet
