Located at the top of the island of La Palma at 2,396 meters above sea level, el Roque de los Muchachos (the Rock of the Boys) is one of the best places in the world to observe the stars. Easily accessible by car, this area is home to the Roque de los Muchachos Astrophysical Observatory, which can be visited by day by booking in advance.
