Town hall, a photo from Guipuzcoa, Pais Vasco

Photographer's Note

San Sebastian Town Hall is located near the La Concha Bay. It was originally designed as a casino in 1887, during the Belle Epoque. The casino closed in 1924 and the Town Hall moved to the building in 1947.
In September, I have posted a photo of the town hall from the front side.

It seems that once again dark clouds help to bring out the best colours, or at least they make a correct exposure easier. This is a nice building, but maybe nothing outstanding, but the great colours and light make this a very enjoyable photo anyway. It is as always also a very nicely composed photo with a good balance .

Hello Ryszard.
This is a splendid architectural shot taken in a daily-life' context, with the passers-by and bikes adding the urban atmosphere. The high resolution version looks very sharp and allows an appreciation of the detail. I think the lack of sunlight only makes the colour of the stone-work seem richer and deeper. A well composed view of an elegant town hall building.

A good upwards pov on the stately sandstone building with excellent sharpness. It looks similar in style to older buildings in Sydney or Brisbane. The bike makes a good focal point and the people animate the scene. Tfs!

Swietna kompozycja, ten pomaranczowy budynek znakomicie sie prezentuje udekorowany drzewami palmowymi. Wyglada to super egzotycznie. Podoba mi soe bardzo cciepl kolorystyka tego zdjecia, pomimo ze nibe pokryte chmurami po prostu czuc goraca atmosfere.
Bardzo atrakcyjna prezentacja.
