Photographer's Note

I had no reply, just the trill of the birds and the bark of a distant dog. The old house placed on the top of the hill surrounded by the vinyard looked abandoned. Then I made some shots and left the place thinking that the place had had betters days.

like this close up study. Lots of textures here and wonderful detail, but it is the shadow and your notes that give it atmosphere and a tinge of melancholy.

Hello Jose,a good close up of the old door with its interesting handle, all in sharp focus.
I like the shadow the handle created.

Just one little criticism, the placing of your name in the centre; do you need to put it on the shot at all?

This is a neat and attractive composition. I like the well captured texture of the old worn wood and the rusty iron. Ther light and sharpnbess are superb.
