Ola Juan,

Autumn as a man on a citybike! The arrival of autumn is always a dreaded moment here, although this year...it seems like we 've just skipped summer altogether.

Great atmospheric picture. I love the crop, focussing on that wet piece of pavement with the two people just passing through, trying to get "out of the picture" as quickly as possible, on their way home or to their job. Let's hope for them it's on their way home.

Love this excellent motion effect, the ripples and blurred outlines of people offer a glimpse of the feeling on a wet day. The grey old day made the surroundings look almost black & white, although they are not. The hints of colour grab attention and make this work while the eye follows the natural movements from bottom left of frame and the blur really makes this work. An image that cheers up the rainy day and a dream-like quality to this shot makes me feel optimistic just looking at it. Very reminiscent of a painting. Great stuff, Well done and congrats

yes, i love those things too, but we did not get much of a summer this year - it was very short, shorter than usual so i want more sun first! :)
you do very well in capturing these shadowy images and reflections.
has a grainy, ghostly, spooky, haunting atmosphere to it.

It is an interesting effect you have achieved here. I understand how you can get the blur with the shutter speed but how did you get the graininess? High ISO? Was this taken through a window?
