Photographer's Note
Still on the hill. This guy was busking, but clearly was just as interested in playing as collecting money. At one point he did an impromptu duet with didgeridoo player, yes, there was all kinds of musicians up there (being at different hieghts, they didn't make a very good compo).
Rather more fussy compo than the others for this, but at least it gives a better impression of the square.

Hi Richard
An excellent daily life shot, with good layering & depth. Lighting is superb, with backlighting of the subjects, & the textured cobblestones both accentuated.

Your whole serie on the San Nicolas Park is great fun, full of life, and you show a lot of friendly fondness for the people you show us. I really enjoyed walking through the park with you.
This one is fine, a good position of the musician that helps the composition but also conveys his concentration and absorption in his music. A somewhat busy background but probably well suited to the crowd in the place, from sellers trying to sell little nothings to tourists to women maybe enjoying a bit of fresh air after a day at work. I like also that we see the whole building of the Alhambra in the background. Nice light as in the other pictures and good DOF. Great job!

I would have liked more out of focus background especially because the man with the blue pullover disturbs me. I think you could crop also the lower part (the legs) until the base of sax to have more concentration on the man and his sax. The horizon is a little tilted. The lightning is very good as well as the contrast. I add the picture to street musician group theme.

Oh!
Excellent,Richard,really great.
Some strong things here:
*Light:it's very important here,as a great element that skilfully controlled and you reached a best result.also kind of the light in that moment made a nostalgic atmosphere which I take it from results of the colors.
*Colors:Excellent!I'm wondering about brown tonality here, from his shoes, winter coat, his hair, women's hairs, the building in far,a thing in back of the man,his sax(golden/brown) and abit in ground, the light in that moment as I said add to this tonality and I must say this tone here is Excellent, and made a semi sepia work, and a nostalgic atmospher which I love.
*Sound of the music!:Yes,whay not?!I can hear his work,I'm sure that he worked in that time a nostalgic piece, didn't it?!
*and, surely in point of DOF,POV and finally Composition, the shot is very fine and strong.very nicely done.
I like it very much,Richard
Yours

Incredible Richard with all the changing activities from this place. A fine time of the day in the late afternoon light adds warmth and a friendly 'tone' the the shot.

A famous instrument invented by the belgian Adolph Sax. The picture is captured at the right moment and with fines colors. Well seen, Richard!
