Hello Roger,
very nice view to this harbour with good light and natural colors. I like the roof in the foreground and the texture of its tiles. Together with the hazy mountain in the background it creates a very good depth to your picture,

Par-dessus les toits qu'est-ce que l'on y voit ! une magnifique baie bordйe de vieilles maisons tйmoins du passй.
J'aime ces bateaux qui se balancent mollement au grй du vent (mon imagination travaille et s'йvade а travers une telle composition !) ;o)
Une rйalisation de 2006 qui n'a rien perdu de sa beautй.

Hi Roger,
I've been to this town four times now, each time I see an image from here I get so homesick to return. We stayed just over the hill in Port Iiligat but there were quite a few nights when I walked along the road in your shot with maybe just a tiny bit too much Spanish wine under my belt.
Lovely shot, a true postcard from Cadaques.

I like the point of view over the rooftops with the sweeping curves of the coastline taking the eyes into the far distance. Also, the red white colour contrasts offered by the houses. Good natural colours and excellent sharpness.

I do like the way you framed the strong diagonal and detail of the red roof. I would have tried to shoot it without the roof but the I would not have captured the way the foreground allows us to envision the details of the houses along the curve of the sea wall and the transparency of the water. So I have learned much from you picture. Thank you.

Bonjours Roger,
J'ai connu ce petit port en 1968,alors il n' y avait que des petits bateaux de peche et en moins grande quantitй,sur la petite place en face du port il y avait un petit restaurant ou l'on mangeait pour une bouchйe de pain,les petits bars avaient leurs sol en terre battue.
Que de beaux souvenirs.

Anche se la qualitа tecnica non и eccellente resta sempre una bella composizione. La localitа merita e il pov и ben scelto per far vedere sia la cittа che la bella marina. Mi piace il bel contrasto tra i tetti rossi e il mare blu pieno di barche.

La prйsence des personnes et des bateaux a un effet d'йchelle de grandeur. La prise de vue envoie notre regard ver l'horizon ce qui donne de la profondeur а la photo. Elle permet aussi de voir les dйtails et les couleurs des maisons du village. L'intensitй de la lumiиre rehausse les couleurs du paysage. Bonne journйe.

Il n'en faut pas plus pour me convaincre, que cet endroit doit кtre bien accueillant et agrйable. Ton cadrage est vraiment inspirй en faisant s'ouvrir l'image а partir du coin droit de la photo. C'est une image trиs descriptive, du bord de mer, des faзades, du relief, du port, et... des toits. Belles couleurs naturelles et parfaite nettetй. Bravo.

I just love how these rich, textured roof tiles are emerging from the bottom r/h corner of the frame! Superb composition!
The busy port, full of small boats, is beautifully framed by the curve of the quayside, the jutting headland and slope of the roof.
A really attractive scene.

Le POV est bien choisi avec un cadrage soignй du premier plan(pas de cheminйes coupйes).Les textures de tuiles sont un sujet qui passe toujours bien en photo.Belle harmonie en tons doux de cette cфte espagnole.

Wow I'll say this is a postcard! What an awesome POV, Roger! Excellent movement as well. I love the way the city wall curves away to our right while the hills thrust out into the sea to the left, and the foreground rooftop juts out to the left. Good clarity and colors in what must have been very bright and challenging conditions. Very well balanced composition and original take. Congratulations!
