Another postcard from Tossa de Mar, a photo from Girona, Catalonia

This view is anything but original, but maybe you care as much as I do for it, that is, very little. :D A bit surprisingly, I found only one post of the same view here in TE, but it isn't exactly the same POV.

I'll repeat here the note of my first post of the area, which was shot very near this one:

Costa Brava (literally Rough or Wild Coast) is the touristic name of the stretch of coast that starts about 20 Km North of Barcelona. While it is severally beaten by mass tourism since the 1960's, it still preserves some irresistible charm, mostly because of the amazing beauty of many stretches of the coast and the hills that are still thickly forested in some parts. There are also some very charming towns and settlements, Tossa de Mar being one of them.

WS's: Views from the sea. #1 was shot behind the POV of this one and #2 to the left and bellow the trees on the FG left.

PS: I'll be away for an extended weekend in Western Spain, so you won't see me here before next Wednesday or Thursday. I hope I can come back with a couple of snowed mountains views, but I am not so confident because the time is short and I am going with my family.

Hello Josй,

The scene looks familiar, but much too beautiful not to post. Besides, this one is more expansive and gives a better geographic perspective of Tossa de Mar. The colors are brilliant, the resolution sharp, and the composition first rate. Again, this must have been shot on the way to Barcelona. I hope that your family is well. Warmest regards,

Lindas todas as trкs imagens, уtimos exemplares para o TE, a mostrar magnificamente o lugar. Esta dб uma forte sensaзгo de 3D, com todos estes planos que se descortinam de um belнssimo primeiro plano e que se multiplicam atй quase se confundirem com as nuvens ao fundo, numa elegante diagonal.

Olб Josй, linda janela de pinбceas em 'V'. O que se vк para lб dela fez-me logo lembrar a costa da arrбbida. Atй acho que aquela praia cheia de pessoas й o Portinho da Arrбbida ;-) De longe a mais bonita e melhor das 3 a todos os nнveis, mas os dois WSs sгo excelentes para nos dar contexto. Imagino que um barco aqui serб mesmo ъtil - dб mesmo vontade de ir explorar essas baнas e penhascos que se vкem a perder de vista.

Hello Jose, Italy has some amazing landscapes and i particulary like this one, the POV is very well chosen. I also like the boats i could almost select them all and then click-right to move them some place else like in the rts games ;) wd!

It is a beautiful view from your high 'perch' on the cliff. Probably the main reason it has only featured on TE once before is because most people who go to the Costa Brava don't leave the beach, or even the hotel pool. The colours are wonderful and your use of the trees for framing is well thought out with and off-centred V. I also like the WSs and as I said many times on other occasions they could also be main posts. I sense your hurry to finish the travelogue before you have many more recent to post.
Enjoy your break in Spain, although as I write I guess you will already be there.

Hi Jose,
excellent and classical composition with a great atmosphere of the seaside. The colors are brilliant. The light is also amazing.But with a closer look at the bay one discovers that this place is a crowded touristic place (I knew it before of course, but your impression hides this so nicely!) TFS.

Magnifique point de vue et trиs jolie baie avec tous ces bateaux et la plage. Le bel йclairage met bien en valeur cette scиne et donne de superbes couleurs. J'aime beaucoup aussi les rochers qui bordent la mer et les arbres en avant-plan.

quando estive na catalunha queria ter conhecido a costa, mas acabei ficando apenas nas cidades. aqui vc mostra uma beleza de lugar, as formas dos costхes rochosos e seu encontro com o mar forma um belo assunto. linda imagem, compo bem feita em todos os aspectos
