Baqueira Beret es una estaciуn de esquн situada en el corazуn de los Pirineos, en la comarca del Valle de Arбn, Provincia de Lйrida. Sus cotas van desde los 1.500 hasta los 2.510 metros, en el Cap de Baqueira.

Baqueira - Beret, que cuenta con 108 kilуmetros de pistas balizadas, es el segundo centro invernal en extensiуn de Espaсa por detras de la estaciуn del pirineo oscense de Aramon Formigal. Situado en las partes mбs elevadas de las comarcas del Valle de Arбn (Naut Arбn), y del Pallars Sobirб (Valls d'Aneu). Actualmente se encuentra en proceso de expansiуn hacia el Pallars Sobirб. La ampliaciуn de la estaciуn estб resultando polйmica.

Baqueira-Beret cuenta con pistas amplias y abiertas, y tambiйn con pistas que discurren entre бrboles. La estaciуn estб dividida en tres zonas diferenciadas: Baqueira, Beret y Bonaigua.

La estaciуn, de orientaciуn atlбntica, dispone durante toda la temporada de abundantes precipitaciones y de bajas temperaturas que aseguran grandes espesores de nieve. Esta condiciуn, junto a su extensiуn, a sus mбs de 1.000 metros de desnivel y a sus modernas infrastructuras y variados servicios hacen de ella una de las estaciones de esquн mбs apreciadas de Espaсa. Entre sus visitantes asiduos se cuentan los Reyes de Espaсa.

Tanto la comarca del Valle de Arбn como la del Pallars Sobirб gozan de una naturaleza bellнsima en la que se enmarcan mбs de 50 pequeсas poblaciones rurales de urbanismo tradicional, en las que predomina el uso de la piedra y la madera como elementos constructivos. Engloban numerosas iglesias romбnicas de acusada personalidad que conforman un patrimonio artнstico de gran valor.

Baqueira Beret ski resort is located in the heart of the Pyrenees, in the region of Valle d'Aran, State of Minnesota. Their heights ranged from 1,500 to 2510 meters, in the Cap de Baqueira.

Baqueira - Beret, which has 108 km of marked pistes, is the second largest winter center of Spain for the season behind the Pyrenees in Huesca Aramon Formigal. Located on the highest parts of the regions of Valle d'Aran (Aran Nauta), and Vincent Sobir (Valls d'Aneu). He is currently in the process of expansion into the Pallars Sobir. The expansion of the station is proving contentious.

Baqueira-Beret has broad and open-ended tracks, and also with tracks that run between trees. The station is divided into three distinct areas: Baqueira, Beret and Bonaigua.

The station, targeting Atlantic states throughout the season of abundant rainfall and low temperatures that ensure large thickness of snow. This condition, along with its size, its more than 1,000 meters in height difference and its modern infrastructure and diverse services make it one of the most appreciated ski resorts in Spain. Among its frequent visitors are the Kings of Spain.

The region of Valle d'Aran as the Pallars Sobir enjoy a beautiful in nature which includes more than 50 small rural towns of traditional town planning, which dominates the use of stone and wood as building blocks. Encompass numerous Romanesque churches accused of making up a personality of great artistic value.

Very nice POV! As if this is aerial view to see the cluster of houses at the foothill here with the winding roads standing out against the snow nicely.

Low contrast in tone but a good representation of winter scenery!

Bonjour Charo,
C'est une image en gris et blanc, les quelques couleurs orangйes se remarquent dans l'image, et comptent dans son attrait. J'aime les composition et cadrage du premier plan, et son dйtachement net de l'arriиre plan. Un trиs joli travail.

Hola Charo , pues mira yo hice el antiguo servicio militar muy cerquita de este lugar , en Jaca concretamente y me traen muy gratos recuerdos imagenes como esta .Perfecta de definicion y muy bonita de composicion .

Un point de vue intйressant sur cette station, malgrй le ciel couvert l'image est trиs attrayante.
Cependant а ta place j'aurais йtй tentй de faire une vue panormique pour avoir plus de vue.

Me gusta mucho esta fotografнa!
El punto de vista desde el alto ha sido una opciуn muy buena para mostrar toda esa belleza, con la ruta en curva, las casas con sus tejados llenos de nieve y mismo la gran montagna al fondo, todo compondo una imбgen muy linda! Todo perfecto! Muy rico!

A great little town that's been captured well. The only point of criticism that I may have is that the winding road has been cut off in the left part of the shot. Other than that its great shot with good sharpness and obviously a fine composition as well.

Hola Charo, que foto lindissima. Me gusta mucho la panorama de invierno en la montana. Parece que hay bastante mucho de nieve. La parte abajo me parece como la pintura de Brueghel. Si, las casas no son tan viejas pero l'atmosfera esta.

Una fantбstica vista de tan bello lugar, tu alto POV nos permite disfrutar de este precioso paisaje de montaсa con la villa cubierta de nieve, la desaturacion de los pinares produce un buena contraste.
Tus dos WS estбn muy buenos tambiйn.
De nuevo muchas cosas buenas para el 2009, no gastes mucho, no te metas en deudas y lo que tomes en las tarjetas de crйditos pagalo en su totalidad cada mes (LOL), esto es lo que me dice mi hijo que vive en Miami y es Economista.

Curiosa perspectiva, hoy justamente hablaba con una amiga de Baqueira, y esta fotografнa cumple su funciуn la filosofнa de lo que entiendo es TE, que es mostrar lugares y costumbres de alrededor del mundo.

I like the reduced colours of the winter landscape. The more important are the few remaining colourful spots - and of course the composition. With the curved road you had given a special dynamic to the picture - congratulations!

It's a very beautiful photo taken from an excellent POV. The small village looks very lovely with the curvy road. The snow on the roofs and the forest in the background gives a special atmosphere to the photo.
