Hello friends and colleagues, today I offer you a view taken from Mount Igueldo, with the bay and the island of Santa Clara in the foreground and the beach of La Concha and the city of San Sebastiбn in the background. I hope you like it, then some letters about the city.

San Sebastiбn (in Basque Donostia, and officially Donostia / San Sebastiбn) is a Spanish city and municipality located on the coast of the Bay of Biscay and 20 kilometers from the border with France. The city is the capital of the province of Guipъzcoa, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country. The population of the municipality is 186 665 inhabitants (2018), 7 and its metropolitan area reaches 436,500 (2010). It is the head of the Basque City Bayonne-San Sebastiбn Eurocity, a conurbation of more than 620,000 inhabitants.

Its main economic activities are commerce and tourism, constituting in the past one of the most famous tourist destinations in Spain. Its landscape, dominated by the bay of La Concha, as well as its modern architectural development initiated in the second half of the nineteenth century, which shaped a city of French and bourgeois court, led to the development of tourism activity at European level. All this, together with international events such as the San Sebastiбn International Film Festival, the San Sebastiбn Jazz Festival, the Musical Fortnight or the Horror Film Festival, has given external projection to the city, despite its small dimensions . San Sebastiбn was the European Capital of Culture in 2016 together with Wrocław, Poland.

Hello Angel,
It was a hazy day, but the light is still quite good and the half circle made by the very long beach makes a huge impression. The island in the bay is another very strong eye-catcher. The trees just below you create a very good frame at the bottom of the photo.

Hola Angel,

You have created a fine composition.
The use of the trees, anchors the f/g, creating an excellent sense of depth to the sea, the beach and ultimately the misty mountains.
It's a well chosen, elevated view. The anchored boats look minuscule, giving us a clear understanding of the scale you have achieved.

Angel, el punto de vista muy alto desde la cima de la montana permite apreciar el paisaje en general. La playa tiene una forma de luna invertida. Muchos barcos estan amarrados en la bahia. Distinguimos la isla y la ciudad. El agua turquesa es muy atractiva vista desde arriba. Vivos colores, buen nitidez. Saludos cordiales.

Hola Angel J'ai d'abord cru а une image captйe au moyen d'une lentille de type 'fish eye' йtant donnйe la forme arrondie de la plage! C'est en effet une vue magnifiqye de cet endroit idyllique, captйe d'en haut pour bien en exposer la splendide vaste йtendue. Au point de vue technique photo, c'est la perfection absolue!! this is a stunning viewpoint. The view is amazing.
Fantastic beach so wide and it stretches for so long!
I like also the little islet which adds a nice feature to the scenery.

Creo que este es un gran POV de la "Baya de la Concha". Realmente no lo habнa vista ni imaginado en esta forma oblonga, mirando hacia el este. Mбs a menudo se fotografнa desde el sur. ЎY tambiйn una gran vista diferente de la isla de Santa Clara!

Muitos, muitos parabйns, que vista magnнfica da baнa de S. Sebastian, um lugar magnнfico, aliбs como toda a costa basca. Uma das muitas regiхes magnнficas de Espanha, uma das muitas pйrolas naturais. Apesar de ser uma cidade muito turнstica creio que ainda nгo perdeu o encanto que conheci.
Angel, uma composiзгo maravilhosa, de nos fazer perder o olhar em tantos detalhes e obrigada por me recordar este "rincуn" lindнssimo. Nгo conhecia a perspetiva deste monte.
