Fasten your seatbelts, a photo from Barcelona, Catalonia

Photographer's Note

When the command 'Fasten your seat Belts' was heard by the air hostess on the flight Berlin-Barcelona and the procedure for landing started, the plain went through the endless 'valley' of clouds and the land of Catalonia appeared in front of my eyes: a vast puzzle of colorful harvest fields. Without second thoughts I grabbed my camera and took this picture, dismissing air hostess's warnings (we shouldn't use electrical equipment during landing remember?).

P.S. At least the plain didn't fell. Obviously...

Hello Panayiotis,

I'll be the first to say I dislike shots out of airplanes in almost every instance. This is the first one I have ever liked. Your lighting is very warm the way the sky is divided from the earth with the layer of clouds. This is a fantastic composition and very well executed.

I love the photo... but I have a problem: I'm a flight attendant and I cannot smile when you make a joke with something about my work and about the security.

Nice view and picture... but views from cockpit are better.

Great lighting and colors Panagiotis.Quite difficult to control the light in these altitudes. I also like the sharp part of the plain and the fluffy clouds.Good job.

Η φωτογραφία σου μου θύμισε το δικό μου αεροπορικό ταξίδι πριν μερικά χρόνια στην Ισπανία και την θέα του απίστευτου πολύχρωμου πάζλ με κομμάτια γης! Χμμ.. πιστεύω ότι το τελικό αποτέλεσμα άξιζε την παρατυπία! Πραγματικά υπέροχη η απεικόνιση σου, με ζωηρά χρώματα και ένα όμορφα διαλεγμένο σημείο λήψης!
