Photographer's Note
I enjoyed the city of Zaragoza very much, probably even more so than Barcelona. I wish we had more time to visit other cities in Spain, but that will have to wait for some future journey.
In this scene, one of the nothing specials, the yellow window coverings really caught my attention.
In the WS is another photo of just the coverings, and to be honest I prefer the WS photo more. However, I know most people would probably find this one more interesting because of the added street activity below.
Too bad there isn't some funny story to share with this scene, I wish there were. I just wanted to share with you a scene that caught my eye. The architecture is very attractive and with the yellow coverings it works so well as advertising from the street level.

Bonjour, cher Craig,

hello Craig, In both pictures it is the same building, both are equally nice. I also liked Zaragoza very much. But all the pictures you show are from the centre. Haven't you visited the modern part on the other side of the river?
I found it quite fascinating. I have so many photos but when to show them? and who would be interested??
Beautiful building with original yellow elements.
Kind regards Malgo

Hello Craig,
My preference also goes to the picture in the WS.
I haven't seen this building in Zaragoza but I remember similar coverings in other Spanish cities. Like this building in Toledo: https://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Spain/Castilla-La_Mancha/Toledo//photo1188396.htm
Something typical for Spain, I'd say.
Architecturally, this building in Zaragoza also has many beautiful decorations and the yellow provides a wonderful variety with the facade colour.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Craig,
I don't constitute a majority of people watching this site, but I do prefer this photo to the WS. You know, street life... people... I like the closer WS view too, but this is my choice.
Best wishes,
Gert

Hello Craig,
My immediate thought is go with your gut instinct.
Don't try to please others because you are a fab photographer and will, by instinct, have taken a fine shot.
I'm with you on this; though the main shot is fine, the w/s is better.
Having just flicked through the critiques of others ... we all like the w/s better!
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Craig,
THe presenc eof the persons is animating the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the facade of the building and of the yellow covers. The light is enhacing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Craig,
It's a really beautiful building with with lots of interesting and appealing decorations. I like the patterns they create along with the windows and the yellow coverings. The people animate the photo, but they are also a bit distractive, so that makes the WS better.

Hello Craig,
My train from Barcelona to Madrid briefly stopped in Zaragoza but I did not detrain there. I was itching to get to Lisbon! A pity because Zaragoza looks to be well worth a day or 2. A fine upward pov and nice repetition of the yellow canopies. Tfs!

Hello Craig, Zaragoza looks like a very interesting place.
It is a lovely building with some fine details. Of course, the yellow awnings add a lovely splash of colour, but the windows, the stonework and the metal are quite special.
Nice one!
Kind regards

Hi Craig
I value very much with this type of photo of facades, where you have to stop to recreate with the iron design of the balconies, very beautiful stone ornaments on the facade, which even has original windows with columns on the ground floor of the Bank, the Yellow awnings are a striking detail.
A fantastic photo, with beautiful natural colors, very good lighting and excellent sharpness.
Well done I love.
Enjoy the weekend.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Craig,
Right on, the yellow parasols grab most attention when first looking at this. But soon I found the details of the balconies, the depicted art elements on the lintels and the stylish iron railings and all above the street action which was superbly combined.
Wish you a nice sunday,
Ike
