Photographer's Note
I've mentioned before, how the city of Zaragoza has some very odd and unique looking architecture. I'm not saying I like this buildings, i'm posting it because its just so odd.
And I mean that in a positive way, not negative.
Its the #1 reason why I decided to visit this city above several other cities.
This photo is far far away from being special, but that's the point - the point is to simply focus in on the building and its exterior styling choice. Why would the architect choose to use brown cones like this...who knows.
Please take a look at the WS for another view, to see the building from a further away pov. You'll see what I mean. It stands out for sure.

Bonjour, cher Craig,

Hi Craig
It certainly would stand out. I do think that I've seen something similar but don't remember where. A good photo emphasising the individuality of the building.
Cheers
Ian
And yes that is Subaru - I've had nothing but for 30 years. Manuals with low range, so good for most conditions and economical.

Hello Craig, In Zaragoza there are many interesting buildings, historical and modern. I was delighted with this city. Interesting balconies. The yellow traffic sign catches attention.
I have posted some pictures from the carpet museum on FB. Enjoy! And my new adventure begins today!!

Hello Craig,
I can't make up my mind if this building is just odd, or actually ugly. I can't say that I really appreciate it, and even less when I see in the WS how much it stands out against the surroundings. I have no objections to your photos, I just don't like this building very much.
Regards,
Gert

Hi Craig,
The presence of the people is animating the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the architecture of the buildings. The yellow traffic lights are an eye-catcher. have a nice day.

Thats is really an amazing design, it reminds me of houses for dwarfs :), maybe the architect liked a special fairy tale in his childhood and this was his inspiration?

Hello Craig,
All those small cones above the windows do make for some very interesting architectural details, although I am not quite sure I like them, but that's maybe also because the windows look quite unwelcoming. The foreground add a nice bit of daily life as well.

Hi dear Craig
This is another so unique design building, isn't it?
In Japan we never see such design, as I guess the maintenance and clearing seems so expensive, hahaha.
Combination with several people(talking each other, talkin on phone, jusy walkinh or so) is so nice too.
All the best and have a good day! Takero

Hello Craig
The architecture is indeed unique - as you mention - with the brown cones. However, the building is well framed with the two leafless trees. The Vodafone sign and the traffic signal give pleasing touches of colour and the people well distributed within the frame help to animate the scene. The WS pictures are excellent too particularly the one showing the street and other buildings.
Have a nice weekend.

Hello Craig,
Yes, the building is a bit strange, but what sells the photo is a the girl hanging on her phone.
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Ciao Craig,
A strange collection of conical witch's hats shapes on this building. I wonder where the brooms are, lol! Good sharpness, perspective and tight framing. Tfs!

Hello Craig
Indeed, this is a building that makes you wonder what the architect inspired for this design.
The building has certainly character, it also fits in its environment. Still I can't really like it. Probably because of the association with short pencil stubs.
Excellent presentation
Have a nice day, groet Rob

Hello Craig,
This is definitely a weird building, and seeing it in the WS photo with the other buildings only emphasizes that, but hey, why not create a building with protruding windows and cones on top?! :-) I wonder what exactly the architect was going for with this design, but it makes an interesting photo for sure. :-)
