Photographer's Note
From my archives: In spite of its technical shortcomings, this 44 year old photo is still one of my favorite captures. Taken with one of Pentax' earliest SLRs, no auto focus or light metering - completely manual. Scanned from a Kodachrome transparency.
Sevilla's Feria (Spring Fair) is unquestionably the most colorful and memorable festival I have ever visited. I had been watching this preteen girl dancing alone in her family casita - passionately immersed in the fiery rhythms of the dance, and totally unaware of my presence or my camera. An unforgettable moment.

Hi Franklin,
Its a really nice shot. Even though u had a very primitive equipment u managed it very well. Really passionate moves. Bold red tones.
Great of you to share

I love images of dancers so this one caught my eye right away. I was surprised it was taken so long ago but this just goes to show that the subject is timeless.
