Photographer's Note

The Plaza de Andaluca seemed to me the most beautiful and charming place in Palos de la Frontera. The demolition of 4 old houses on Calle Andaluca has given space to create this new square, opened in June 2010, which wants (and manages) to represent a typical Andalusian patio.

In it are the Multifunctional Building and a small altar with a panel of tiles dedicated to the canonization of Sister Angela de la Cruz.

It is a very wide square, with a decorative stone fountain in the center, and surrounded by beautiful benches built with exposed brick and colorful tiles, which are also present in the pots with flowers that adorn the two sides of the square, which the they communicate with the mediating streets through stairs and ramps.

The large wrought iron lamppost that illuminates the square is also worth admiring.
