On the left side of the photo is Lomnickэ peak (2632m)-
it is the second highest peak in High Tatras.
On its top is the highest situated scientific workplace in Slovakia.

So thats what the tatras look like theese days. Seems like the winter arrived after all. I like the way the peaks stick out of the clouds and the frozen rocks. It really shows how cold it can be up there. Is this photo also taken from your window? :-)

Hi Viera,
Having snowy peaks rising over the clouds sea is always a spectacular view, and I like this one too. Like Tatranska Lomnica as well, been there early 1998 :-)

on voit bien qu'il y a quelque chose au sommet de la montagne de gauche et ta note est lа pour nous expliquer ce dont il s'agit.
C'est toujours magnifique de voir йmerger des sommets des nuages.
Au dessus, le ciel est bien bleu.

I love how the snowcapped mountain peaks are pointing through the low cloud, while above them the sky is a wonderful shade of blue. Well captured.
