Gradacka banja, a photo from Serbia, North

Photographer's Note

The ethno village Gradačka banja (spa) is located in the village Gradac on the slopes of Mount Golija in the immediate vicinity of the Gradac monastery.

The photo shows a pool with trout, through which water from the stream constantly flows (which also feeds the water-mill in the building on the left - can be seen in the background of the photo in WS). In addition to trout, you can also eat Kačamak (kind of porridge) - a traditional dish of the poor, prepared from corn grits ground in a water-mill. Homemade sour milk and kajmak (kind of cream) are served with porridge (see WS for rest of my portion).

Ciao Alex,obviously for me the most interesting pic is the WS showing local food..ehehe...but the other 2 pics of this etno village are interesting,an excellent quality for nice views too. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Nice wide panorama view with the waterfall above, also on different places
Colours make your picture yet nicer, together with current of the water.
An excellent composition, nice sharp and clear image.

Hi Aleksandar,

This is a nice sunny scene, with the little waterfall on the right and the rockwork and fish tanks on the left. It is unusual to see the combination of glass windows and rock walls in an outdoor fish tank. The little bridge over the stream at the top is a nice touch.
