Sighișoara Clock Tower

This is quite a classic view from the historic centre of the city of Sighișoara and the Clock Tower (Turnul cu Ceas), which is the main point of entry of the old citadel and was built in the 14th century. Sighișoara Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler (Vlad Țepeș, who Dracula was based on) and the yellow house in the left hand side is called Vlad Dracul House.

Jag tдnkte vдl att du snart skulle komma till Sighișoara, som ju дr en av de finaste mindre stдderna pе Balkan. Kanske nr 1. Naturligtvis har jag stеtt pе samma plats och tagit ungefдr samma bild. Sдkert har du ocksе det hдr fantastiska tornet frеn mеnga andra vinklar. Du hade fortfarande ett fint ljus och vackra fдrger sent pе eftermiddagen.

Hello Lars, a great view of this beautiful tower. I know very little about this place but it makes for an interesting shot especially with the bright yellow painted buildings on our right.

Hi Lars,
Yes indeed I was able to recognize this characteristic tower. Very nice capture, in spite of sun being disoersed through the clouds already the scene is colorful and eye cacthing.
The design ot the tower is quite unique. I like the cloclk face being off the center. I like the presence of the Romanian flag as well as a way to confirm the location.

Great composition with this ancient and spectacular tower, which is undoubtedly the symbol of Sighișoara, I really enjoyed this city, it is really charming, you have captured a good image with a very balanced light, it is rare to see so few people in this place, I remember it always very lively.
