Liberty Square Blue Hour, a photo from Timis, West

Photographer's Note

The building at right is a branch of the Universitatea de Vest Timisoara / UVT, (University of West Timisoara) and is specifically devoted to music and theatre. If you look carefully you might spot the outline of a guitar painted on the wall. The building behind the street light is the West City Radio, an FM broadcasting radio station. Saint Mary Statue is at left.

Liberty Square is located between Victory Square & Union Square.

Hello Chris,
A well framed and perfectly exposed nocturnal composition. I like the repeating circles formed by the nicely patterned brick pavement. Lovely warm/cool tonal contrasts.

Bonjour Chris,

L'йtendue de la place donne de la profondeur а la composition. L'utilisation probable d'un support et d'une vitesse lente d'exposition permet de voir les dйtails des immeubles. Cela a aussi un effet spйcial sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journйe.

Hello Chris. Nice blue hour shot. A bit difficult to spot the guitar, but yes, it is there. Nice composition with the many circle lines in the pavement. Excellent light management.

You captured an attractive light and atmosphere in this well exposed photo which also has an exceptional sharpness. I was quite impressed by the designs of these three squares, the buildings surrounding them and their location on a line through the entire central part of the city.

This is a pleasant blue hour photo. Oh yes, I just saw the outline of the guitar. The contrast between the blue sky and the yellow artificial light is pleasant. I like the motion blur of the pedestrians, too.
