Photographer's Note

Tre immagini dedicate al Monastero di Curtea de Ages che vi ho presentato nei giorni scorsi.

La chiesa, costruita tra il 1512 e il 1517, rappresenta un capolavoro dell'archittetura sacra con piu di 150 motivi ornamentali d'ispirazione tradizionale romena, bizantina, araba e persiana.
Lungo gli anni, il monastero subм molti lavori di restauro.
La forma attuale и dovuto all’architetto francese Andre Lecomte du Nouy e al collega romeno Nicolae Gabrilescu, nella seconda metа dell'Ottocento.
I lavori di ricostruzione furono conclusi nel 1885. All’interno spiccano la pittura murale a olio e le 12 colonne raffiguranti i 12 Apostoli. Sempre all’interno si trova un Vangelo scritto a lettere d’oro dalla Regina Elisabetta di Romania.
In questo monastero sono custodite anche le salme dei Re Carlo I e Ferdinando, e delle consorti, le regine Elisabetta e Maria.
Ogni anno piщ di 100.000 turisti e pellegrini visitano il Monastero.

Nei due WS una foto del ricchissimo interno dai numerosi affreschi e un particolare del prospetto laterale della chiesa.

Three images dedicated to the Monastery of Curtea de Ages that I have presented in recent days.
The church, built between 1512 and 1517, is a masterpiece with more than 150 dell'archittetura sacred ornaments inspired by traditional Romania, Byzantine, Arab and Persian.
Over the years, the monastery had many restoration works. The present form is due to the French architect Andre Lecomte du Nouy and colleague Romania Nicolae Gabrilescu in the second half of the nineteenth century. The reconstruction works were completed in 1885 .
Stand inside the wall painting in oils and 12 columns representing the 12 Apostles.
Also inside is a gospel written in letters of gold by Queen Elizabeth of Romania. In this monastery also houses the remains of King Charles I and Ferdinand, and the wives, the queens Elizabeth and Mary.
Every year more than 100,000 tourists and pilgrims visit the monastery.
In the two WS a picture of the rich interior of numerous frescoes and a detail of the side elevation of the church.

Hello Maurizio,
A wonderful close-up on this magnificent architecture. The polarised blue sky makes a splendid backdrop for the golden tones of the monastery. Superb colours and clarity.

Focusing on the magnificent details of those towers, with wonderful architectural elements, was a superb idea and the visual results of that are very beautiful and truly interesting!

Your framing is perfectly thought to bring this marvelous architecture out.
The fine quality reveals each detail, the colours are wonderful and the blue sky is a superb back-cloth.

esplйndida aproximaciуn a la bella arquitectura de este monasterio, en un encuadre cerrado mirando hacia sus torres y su cъpula, que nos ofrecen todo su esplendor con el cielo azul como fondo.
La buena luz y las sombras dibujan sus formas, texturas y relieves.
Me gustan tambiйn las dos fotos en WS, que completan este excelente trabajo fotogrбfico.

Hello Maurizio,

With this tighter sight on these famous twisted turrets, we appreciate even more the smoothness of architecture. The light changed giving hotter colors which bring also a pretty contrast with this so splendid blue sky. Very good complement in your preceding photograph, thank you Maurizio.

Dobar dan-popodne.
Lep pogled na mnogo lepe kule crkve sa krstovima na plavom nebu, lepa kompozicija.
Suncevi zraci naglasili su lepotu i istakli zlatne boje prelepog enterijera sa odlicnim detaljima, mnogo lepa fotografija, moje cestitke.

I disegni nelle "lanterne a cupola, risaltano e creano un ombreggio raffinato, un ricamo.
La nota ed i riferimenti sugli stili architettonici trovano corrispondenza nell'immagine.
