Photographer's Note

Strada Sforii (Rope Street)was built during the early 13th century.
It is the only street whose side-walls can be touched with both hands at the same time.
The narrowest street in eastern Europe has been restored recently and returned to the tourist circuit.

Hello Maurizio,

One must feel a little oppressed in this very narrow street !!! Good idea to emphasize this beautiful lighting by including on the foreground this arcade. I like much the effect of depth of the image. Beautiful and interesting vision on this district where even the bicycles must have difficulties to circulate... Thank you Maurizio.

This is almost unreal! On the top right hand of the photo there seem to be a painting hanging from the oustide of the wall!

I am not sure that this is the narrowest street in Eastern Europe though not that anyone measured!!

it is an excellent catch. The alley looks superb and acted as a nice frame of the perspective in background. Very colourful elements are there at BG wall. Lampsheds are assists the view nicely. Very well composed with vertical frame. Tfs.

Fantastic POV and DOF, very well management light and sun. The color hues are very nice and pleasing. Good choice of lens and format. Good Photo Job. Thanks for your critique of my doggy goes shopping. Yes the light was very difficult, even it was morning, but the sun was very bright.

Maurizio, perfect, this is exactly what I miss about all of Europe in general, narrow streets, places with character. I think the feeling in places like this is is often like emerging into Petra in Jordan after passing through those canyons. Great work.
