Photographer's Note
Yesterday I was to the Port in work and in my hour of lunch I had time to photograph some monuments, here we can see the Church of the Santissima Trindade.
This photo made with 2 photos in the vertical.
The Church was constructed in the old Plaza of the Orange grove, to the long one of séc. XIX, for initiative of the Order of the Trindade. Projecto, in neoclássico style, belonged to architect Carlos Amarante. The workmanship suffered diverse alterations during the construction, even so keeping the initial orientation. In the interior of the Church was panel of great dimensions of the painter distinguished Jose de Brito.

Hi,Goncalo,
A very pleasant cityscape.I like you've caught the atmosphere of a usual day in this place. It's a beautiful square in Porto.
The two people sitting on either side of the bench back to back are like a sculptural figures:) comleting the atmosphere of the shot.
The passing pedestrian blurry silhouette creates some dynamism.
But the cathedral, no doubts is very beautiful.

Excellent photo with the church framed nicely by the trees. The foreground in shadow helps to draw our attention to the church. Your perspective is great showing the view of the other photographer. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF.

Olá Gonçalo,
Gosto imenso do enquadramento e perspectiva, com a igreja "naturalmente" inclinada enquadrada pelas árvores e pelas silhuetas das pessoas. O jogo de luz e sombra tem o efeito de destacar imenso a igreja.

tu n'as pas choisi la facilité avec ces lumières basses, mais elles donnent de l'effet.
Je devine ce que tu as voulu inclure dans le cadrage, mais j'aurais quant à moi cadré un peu plus à droite.

Bonita tomada desta bela arquitetura. Lembro que na cidade do Ponto, tem pontos muito bonitos para tomadas. Tenho algumas fotos de lá, mas preciso escaneá-las. As cores da fotografia estão esplêndidas com grandes contrastes, e a inclusão das pessoas ficou muito bom. Um abraço, Consuelo

a foto está muito bonita, com uma linda e ressecada árvore à esquerda e a Igreja da Trindade, mostrando uma textura muito atraente. Uma foto mais de "close" da Igreja, talvez ficasse muito bom também.

Hola Gonçalo, excelente vista de esta antigua iglesia de gran arquitectura,has realizado un buen encuadre ya que las geometrías de los mosaicos del suelo crean un camino que nos lleva directamente a la Iglesia. El formato cuadrado ayuda a compactar más la composición, gran idea!!

The church has been well framed by the branches at the top of the image. Beautiful light falls onto the building and you have managed this and the details in the shadows well. Nice one.

Uma foto excepcional. As silhuetas negras no primeiro plano dao uma aura de misterio e um certo romantismo. A igreja banhada de luz esta lindissima. Composicao interessante e perfeitamente balanceada pelo formato quadrado escolhido e a inclusao das pessoas e da praca. As cores basicas ai atiram a atencao.

The church is very beautiful, located in a beautiful square in Porto. Indeed the two persons sitting on the bench look like statues. The photographer is the only issue which I wished was not there. Well framed & composed otherwise.
