"Cromeleque dos Almendres" is a megalitic monument located near Йvora. It is the most important megalitic monument of Iberian Peninsula and one of the largest of Europe. The construction period occur in 5000 - 4000 b.c.
It is believed that the monument had religious purposes as well as functioning as a primitive astronomical observatory.

This photo was shot with a Infrared filter. However, this Infrared Filter is a 720nm, a near infrared light filter. It allows some visible light to pass through the filter, creating a photo with low infrared details.
This photo is a bit "shaked". With a infrared filter tripod is essencial. This one was shot without tripod...
