Moving across climate zones on one of four mountain ranges facing the equator along the coasts of the mild subtropics.

The islet's beach was the only in the Azores to get five stars by "Beach Guide of Portugal", published by weekly "Viso" (kind of "Dr. Beach" in Portugal).
But my favorite beaches are on those two miles coastline you can see west from the islet.
As hidden from the eyes from this viewpoint as from the coastal road.

One last paradise, now threatened from east, north and west.
Only the Gulf Stream in the south is apparently still the same.
