Photographer's Note
This is my third photo from Tavira on TrekEarth. In my previous photo:
https://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Portugal/photo1602021.htm
you could see a fragment of the Roman/Moorish bride, one of the ancient sights in the town. This time I share a photo taken while standing on the bridge. At that moment it appeared a very nice spot which combined several houses of various styles and colors. From the perspective of time, I thought whether I could have composed it slightly differently. There is a photo taken by Lars towards the same group of houses but from a different angle. I like his version:
https://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Portugal/South/Algarve/Tavira/photo1595608.htm
Chris on the other hand photographed these houses from yet a different POV:
https://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Portugal/South/Algarve/Tavira/photo1559400.htm
As noted under my previous photo, the bridge is known as the Roman Bridge (Ponte Romana) even though it was recently discovered that it was built already after the collapse of the Western Roman Empire at the times when Algarve was part of the Moorish kingdom.

View from the bridge added DOF to the scene, Mariusz, with the lamp-posts in juxtaposition. Also, we get three different architecture styles built alongside. Humble
Fine outcome as always.
Good afternoon,

Hi Mariusz, the same "Roman" bridge that you posted in the last photo but from a different perspective. Indeed the old and colorful houses offer a beautiful photographic spectacle. The flooring seems to have been redone in the center, while the 2 very worn sidewalks, perhaps they are still the original ones, super quality as always. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Mariusz,
Funny but everyone who went to the Algarve has visited Tavira and I just passed it ...
Plus, the town in this picture doesn't even seem too touristy... unless you took the photo while everyone else was taking an afternoon nap.
Beautiful bright and sharp shot with the charming cobblestones leading us to the pretty houses.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Mariusz
A good photo looking along the bridge towards interesting buildings. I guess that the rails are a modern addition.

Hello Mariusz,
Standing on the bridge, with its cobbled surface and green barriers acting as an irresistible guide, you have completely captured the composition, towards the three very different buildings. It is like an example from a photographic text book.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Mariusz,
I remember this bridge and the charming houses really well (thanks for the link). They make such a wonderful mix together of different patterns and colours. It is so remarkably quiet here, I visited the town on New Year's Day 2020 an it was much busier. Maybe it was too hot in summer?
Lars
PS - you correctly spotted my father in my Roskilde photo :-)

mariusz
a nice view of the local architecture. I guess you will recognize the same style of tiles in the façades when I will show you the city of são luis in brazil, unfortunately everything is being lost.
take care

Hello Mariusz.
Magnificent perspective of the bridge, with these colorful houses so attractive that they give the composition a great strength, one always thinks what one would find on that street after the bridge.
Magnificent color that gives a lot of chromatic richness to the image.
Very good management of lighting and sharpness.
Well done. I like.
I wish you a great day.
Very best regards.
Luis.
