Overrun by tourists, a photo from Algarve, South

Photographer's Note

What I learned while traveling through the coast of Algarve is that it offers beaches for each and every taste. Desolated or crowded. Gay or family friendly. Rocky or soft sand. With gentle or with high waves.
This particular beach, Praia do Beliche, was probably one of the most beautiful which I have seen in Algarve. Interestingly, even though there were many tourists coming to see the view from Cabo de Sгo Vicente, “The End of the World”, 3 km to the west from this beach, not so many people stopped here.
There was something what happened to me on this beach which will make me to remember this place forever, but I will describe it under my next photo, so stay tuned. For now, just a relaxing view from the cliffs surrounding the beach.

A great beach to have a quiet time in any vacation, Mariusz, almost deserted...
Nicely allocated from sand to sea and the rocks towering alongside.

Hello Mariusz,

I have to agree, there are some very beautiful beaches in The Algarve. We visited one which was only accessible by boat, a BBQ was included and volleyball entertainment. I hasten to add, the beach was just as beautiful when we left, as when we had arrived!!

This really is a beautiful beach, with spectacular, surrounding scenery, very well composed and detailed in your photograph. No wonder this part of Portugal is so popular! This could be a shot for a travel mag.

Good high pov and great depth in this shot. Great wide and empty beach, not what I'd expect from your title.

Hello Mariusz,
A wonderful beach surrounded by wonderful rock formations along the entire coastline. You captured it from a nice and high viewpoint. The beach was wonderfully quiet with only a few people walking or sitting in the clear sand.

Hello Mariusz,
So this is close to the Cabo de Sгo Vicente ... However, I cannot remember seeing this beach although it isn't exactly small.
I do remember a place called Peniche but that is elsewhere in Portugal. Not in Algarve.
Is it the cape Cabo de Sгo Vicente we see here in the distance? Or other cliffs?
The coast here is stunningly beautiful and wandering around and clambering up and down rocks, one can discover many new sights.
The brightness of the photo is very appealing.

Hi Mariusz,your words remind me a lot of the beaches of Senegal or Morocco, there are many similar beaches and for all tastes, and often almost deserted, on the other hand we are always on the Atlantic .. once again a great catch, both as details that like color contrast !! Hello Mariusz, this could be a shot from a travel brochure, it looks so inviting.
Beautiful golden sand and a lovely blue green sea, what more could one ask?
Taken from a good high point of view, excellent depth of field.
