The low sun has produced long shadows to give excellent light and shade to the sculpture.
I like how you have included the edge of the towel, giving a touch of colour and creating a sense of depth.

Les chвteaux de sable sont toujours intйressant, celui-ci est magnifique et il a dы prendre beaucoup de temps pour le rйaliser. Les plus beaux que j'ai vus c'йtait au Mexique. Bel йclairage а contre-jour et bon rendu des dйtails et des couleurs.

Hi Goncalo, in the end of november they are still playing with sand. Beautiful construction, with houses, bridges, roads, trees. I see that not only the kids like to build sand castles. Pity that the waves will destroy this fine art.

lo que estб haciendo esta pareja en la arena de la playa es simplemente asombroso, es una autйntica obra de arte, efнmera, pero preciosa.
Tu encuadre y la vista desde arriba nos permiten ver sus detalles, con una buena sensaciуn tridimensional gracias a la luz y las sombras.

You're capturing well this fantastic scene by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impresive to see the spectacle that people are building the small world by sands. We can see a lot of trees, houses and the slope. It looks like a wonderful imagination's world as returning to the child's heart.

Now this is construction at its best - certainly brings back fond memories of my days on the beach - I remember one of my sand creations I thought it was fantastic & I wanted to show it off to the World - BUT - before I had the chance to do so - along came two of my four brothers & jumped all over it.... such as life.
This is a terrific image & a fabulous work of art.

Wow, that`s an amazing construction. You have captured the "village" very well from a well selected high POV. The warm afternoon light suits the scene very well, and creates nice shadows that enhances the shapes of the fantasy world. The people included in the composition tells us something about the scale. The sand sculpture was large and sophisticated. It seemed like they were imitating one of the real castles in Portugal.

The picture was taken at excellent angle, lighting was also perfect.

Wow, that is a work of art, they have spend lot of time building the sand castle. It also makes me think of the sand painting the tibetan monk do, when it is all done, you enjoy it for a little while and then it will return to nature again. Excellent shot with nice shadow play and golden light.

Una obra maestra de ese tipo me parece estupenda, especialmente, como no habмa ninguna competiciтn a primera vista.
La obra fue hecha con tanta competencia artistica por algo que puede desaparecer tan rapido. !
Me pregunto si fuera posible hacerlo en un dмa o si el tabajo empezado se quedara intacto desde un dмa al otro.
Congratulaciones por capturar esa escena muy especial con тptima gestiтn de la luz y de los detalles.
Tambiйn, me gusta la actitud de los artistas : La mujer parece hacer los detalles con mucho gusto, y el hombre йs el inspector de obras acabadas :-)

A good downward pov on the impressive sand art with particular attention to the trees. The boy aand girl add scale and context as the probable builders. Good sharpness and nicely framed with adequate breathing space right around. Tfs!
