Photographer's Note

Situated a few kilometres far from Alccer do Sal, Carrasqueira is a small but really well known village (specially among photographers), thanks to its quay formed by many walkways built on irregular wooden stilts, that has been built in the 50's/60's of the 20th century, to allow fishermen to reach their boats during the high and also during the low tide. This photo has been taken during the high tide and this walkway had been destroyed by the waves during the winter.
