Alfama, a photo from Lisboa, South

Photographer's Note

As last posting from Lisboa I show you a view on Alfama, east part of the city Lisboa with sight on the "Santa Engracia" and "Rio Tejo". This place is also known as "Largo das Portas do Sol"... but the sun was gone for a moment :-)

The first thing that came to my mind: cluttered but pretty. It is a strong image with lots of differently spaced shapes.

Hallo Luc!
What a contrast between the white and colourful houses and the threatening sky! I like the churches silhouetting in front of this sky. The sunlight at the houses works very well and emphasizes the colours. But there seems to be little greenery there...

Hallo Luc,
Een mooi overzicht over de daken heen van Lissabon. Die rode daken steken mooi af tegen het grijs/blauwe van de lucht. Mooi vastgelegd, vooral met die dikke vette wolken in beeld.

Zeer mooie foto Luc ,ik vindt de grilligheid van de huizen bijzonder mooi en plezierig om zien .Het contrast is eveneens knap met de prachtige wolkenhemel .De uitstekende monumentale gebouwen zorgen voor een prachtige afwerking ,zeer knap

Excellent view over the city with the two churches dominating. The lack of bright sun doesn't seem to matter as the brooding sky frames the image perfectly.

De warme kleuren van de stad vallen echt op tegen de koudere maar mooi blauwe kleuren can deze prachtige hemel.

Bonjour Luc, la lumiиre est magnifique, bonne photo aux couleurs bien contrastйes, ici un super point de vue et une image de trиs belle qualitй, et du reste parfaitement mise en valeur par une topographie des lieux, tant par l’architecture des bвtiments que par leur coloris, soulignйe par le ciel bleu acier et tellement photogйnique, trиs joli POV qui donne une trиs belle photo avec toutes ces successions de toits,

Dag Luc,

Een stad heeft blijkbaar meerdere mooie plaatsen dan de straten en de winkels, u nam dit beeld boven de daken en wat zien wij mooie dingen verschijnen, waaronder het prachtig gebouw in de achtergrond, dit schitterend geflakkeerd door een veel belovende hemel qua wolken, zeer goede samenstelling! Mijn complimenten voor dit werk. Bedankt voor uw bezoek.

Heel mooi contrast tussen de wirwar van huizen en de dreigende hemel erboven. Mooie, prettige compositie.
