Salut Stephen,

Hello Stephen,
I have seen this remarkable floor tiling before but I always enjoy to see it, for I find it impossible not to perceive it in 3D! It makes a f/g that grabs attention as it folds, like a ploughed field!!
I'm not sure about the hand! Does it mean don't approach the beach or don't leave the beach, or just stop what you are doing!!! A curious sculpture!
Have a good Sunday,
Bev :-)
WE thought we were over the worst but have wakened up to more snow!

A beautifully displayed place and architecture on the shore, good contrast and perspective, nice colors, a beautifully captured moment with the clouds that come and bring rain.

Hello Stephen,
This photo is rich in attractive elements, the red hand being just one of them. Whatever it's supposed to mean it certainly catches everyone's eyes. It's probably the kind of monument that the locals hated when it was new but have learned to love after a while. The buildings behind it show some very interesting architecture, as far as I can judge, and of course the wavy pattern of the cobbled yard gives the photo a strong Portuguese character.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Stephen,
The wideness of the area is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details, of the beach, of the houses and of the artworks. I like the design of the foreground. The cloudy sky does not hurt the output of the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Stephen,
Varied bands of texture and color flow through this well composed water front shot. The pattern tiles are particularly attractive.
Kind Regards,

Hello Stephen
Your picture shows an attractive combination of the village and the sea and the waving patterns of the pavement in front. Did you also try a POV a little more to the left with red hand more prominent in the scene?
Excellent work. Have a good Sunday, groet Rob

Hello Stephen, you made good use of the mosaic with its' curving lines to draw our eyes into the scene.
Did you take more shots of the red hand?
An interesting composition with your decision to place the hand to the extreme right.
Regards Jean.

Hello Stephen,
A great impression of the seafront in this rich suburb. The houses along the water and the port look great and the wavy pattern of the pavement is a great foreground. It seems a Portuguese specialty, as I’ve seen it in photos from other parts in Portugal too. The red hand is also well included.

Hello Stephen
Those beautiful wavy cobbles again! I haven't been to Cascais since 1969, when I visited a girl I'd met the year before in Lagos. She lived in what I can only describe as a mansion, and I was welcomed even though I was a scruffy young hippy! Often wondered what happened to Graça Maria Jacinto...
Regards
Will
