Cascais - Caminho dos doces

I still have a lot of pictures of Chilean volcanoes with a snowcap but Im afraid that you may get an overdose. So now something else. And on this one Gert will finally find some human life. It wasnt easy to include people on my Chilean nature pictures.

This photo is almost a year old and taken in Cascais, a coastal town at 30 kilometers west of Lisbon.
Theres a very large yacht harbour, there are some sandy beaches and the town is popular among domestic and foreign tourists. Its not exactly the place for travelers on a cultural tour through Portugal but it certainly has some charm and it is a convenient day trip from the capital if you dont mind the many tourists.

I dont remember whether I was most attracted by the big wheel or by the candy stores along the waterside but here you see them both.

Caminho dos doces = Candy road.
