Photographer's Note

One more view from the walk along the orange cliffs, one of many spots which you can photograph along the drive from Sagres to the westernmost end of Algarve, Cabo de So Vicente.

Thinking about cliffs in Portugal I remembered the accident which happened to a Polish family on their holidays in Portugal in 2014. The parents decided to take a selfie at the edge of cliffs leaving their two children aged 5 and 6 in a safe distance. Unfortunately, both parents fell down and died. Their bodies were recovered on the next day. Their children watched the death of their parents.
Here is a press release:

To be more precise this accident did not happen in Algarve but in the westernmost part of Portugal and continental Europe, Cabo da Roca, which is closer to Lisbon.
