Father and child, a photo from Algarve, South

Photographer's Note

I am so very proud with this photo to achieve 100 photos from Portugal in my TrekEarth gallery. This is the 7th country from which I have 100 or more photos here. The first 5 of them, were the countries I lived in for at least 2.5 years (Poland, Germany, United States, Ireland, United Kingdom) so it was easier. The following two countries on the list were for me just holiday destinations, Spain, which I have visited seven times and finally, Portugal, which I visited just twice but with quite a round trip around.

This photo was taken on the Praia do Camilo, located in the Lagos area near Ponta de Piedade.

Hello Mariusz,
I think you have to conclude from your story that one day you will have to work and live in Portugal and in Spain.
You can reverse the order of facts but not break the rule.
This is another beach I dare to go on. Not really overcrowded.
A little further we even notice a smaller beach. Perhaps it is only possible to get there by sea.
Were there in 2009 still a lot of such places by the sea in Algarve? Or has this spot become an exceptional little paradise?
Beautiful colour of the water nicely contrasting with the yellow and white colours of the cliffs.

Gratuluje nastepnej "setki"! ;-)
Swietna kompozycja, nie ma w tym zdjeciu zadnych nieprzemyslanych elementow. Chmury odzwierciedlaja ksztalt skal, a takze linie piany na zetknieciu morza z piaskiem. Mamy dwa podobne stozki skalne wystajace z wody. Fajne sa slady na piasku, takze rownolegle do tamtych dwoch linii. No i oczywiscie tytulowi ludzie zlapani w czasie wakacyjnego wypoczynku.

Hello Mariusz, an idyllic scene, the very blue sky, the blue/turquoise sea and the golden sand.
The father and child perfectly placed. Just a few footprints to suggest other visitors.

Congratulations on your 100th photo from Portugal. A wonderful view from the beach with amazing cliffs and rock formations, whose yellow tones make a great contrast with the blue of the sea and sky.

excellent the view with the personages animating the scenario and the big rocks in evidence. in the far far horizon we almost can see the beach where my relatives have their beach houses.

The Algarve at its best I would say, without the hoards of tourists that we associate with it. I feel warm and summery just looking at this photo, and for us Spring is just around the corner they say. Good clarity and colours

Hello Mariusz,

If you were trying to advertise The Algarve as a beautiful, relaxing destination, with clear, blue sea and flat, sandy beach, this photograph would be ideal!
The natural features are stunningly portrayed in a fine, well balanced photograph.

Very surprised by this splendid photo, because I wonder at what time you were able to get a picture with only two people, when the whole Algarve is full of tourists, the place is magical, hence it is so requested, it is an extraordinary POV.

Hello Mariusz,
When I viewed the thumbnail for this I thought the father and child referred to the larger and smaller rocks. This serves as a private beach for the father and child.
