The new roof, a photo from Leiria, North

Photographer's Note

Again a photo of the marvellous city of Obidos. This one shows the total length of the city. We were standing at a tower like the one you see at the bg. The new orange roof catch the eye. I'm still not sure if that is good or bad!!

Personally I think the new orange roof is good when it comes to this photo, it's a nice bit of contrast with its bright and solid color against the textured tiled rooftops surrounding it, along with the natural green landscape. The touch of blue on the building corners really stands out as well. Nicely done.

You have such good shooting angle from this elevated pov, its an eyecatching view this old town has to offer and the roof scape is sure attractive enough for a shot like this. They are indeed unique and compact with its unique traditional architecture and no wonder the stunning red roof catches your attention. Lighting is fine, briliiant coloring and liven by fresh looking foliage making this looks so pleasing and charming, They are well preserved. Superb effort, well done. Congrats

nice the panoramic view of the red roofs with the new one to looks like a fly in the milk.The castle on the hill in the middle of the frame dominates the area as outlined perfect in the sky.

Another wonderful South Europian image shot.
The usage of normal-focus lens is the best choice of coverage of all components. Greatest color touch!
The best exposure makes more attractive this wonderful city secenery.

the new roof is outlined amidst other roofs of the village, which we see in this framing from a high POV, with a deep perspective and a great graphical effect.
I like the good luminosity and the power of the colors of the photo, as well as the graphical wealth of the composition, and the beauty of the traditional architecture.

I like your note very much as well as the photo :-) I think the new roof definitely is eye catching and creates element of interest in all this sea of roofs. I like the composition and the content. Lovely perspective with the castle on the horizon adds very much to the whole beauty of the view.

Nice angle of view, that'a great POV from rooftops, with so much depth. For sure, the new roof catches the eyes but it's something you can deal with.
