I like to visit cemeteries during my bike trip, looking for interesting tombstones.

Katholische cemetery in Pleszew.

Pleszew is a town in central Poland, in Greater Poland Voivodeship, about 30 km nord of Ostrуw Wielkoipolski. It is the capital of Pleszew County.

Hello Krzysztof,
I have often wondered what makes people having like a temple built for themselves after death. Such graves are good for photos, but otherwise I can't understand what is the point. But it's an interesting photo with good colours and symmetry.

Alez to wyglada na grecka swiatynie raczej niz na grobowiec!
Troche szkoda ze w tle pobudowali takie bezosobowe komunistyczne bloki, bez nich to naprawde mogloby udac Ateny.
Piekny fragment cmentarza, bardzo ladna centralna symetria tutaj. Piekny dzien. Widze ze pieknych nagrobkow jest tu zreszta wiecej np po prawej stronie stoij akas ladna pieta.

A good photo of this family tomb at the cemetery, I like the symmetry of the small neoclassical building. It is nicely surrounded by flowers and other tombstones as well.

Missed this one. A very ornate looking tomb, complete with classical columns with Ionic capitals. The flowers add a splash of colour. Tfs!

a marvelous chapel in the shape of a greek temple. I can see a pietб sculpture in the other tomb. I like a lot to visit cemeteries because they have nice sculptures.
