Ukrainian lady in pink, a photo from Mazowieckie, East

Photographer's Note

Today was wonderful sunny weather, it was really warm. I went to see happening near Russian Embassy (I will show photos later). In Lazienki Park there is an exhibition with posters for Ukraine. When quiet cities and towns were bombed, Ukrainian illustrators and designers called for the creation of posters and illustrations informing about the tragedy that befell their country. Artists from all over the world responded to the call by creating works about sadness, fear and hatred, calling for an end to the war, showing courage and giving hope.

I found the posters very impressive. This cute girl was with her mother. I heard them talking so I know they were Ukrainians. There are about 2 million Ukrainian refugees in Poland. Now I hear Russian or Ukrainian everywhere in the streets. I recognize the language easily when written, when I hear some words it is more difficult.

Gert likes kick-bikes and little ladies in pink, so I dedicate this picture to him.

Hello Malgo,
Thanks for the dedication, but this kick-bike isn't electric, is it? ;-)
Anyway, we are shown two good posters in three good photos. The main upload has at least three very strong focal-points. I hope the big bear hurt its foot when stepping on the Ukrainian lego piece. It's a pity we can only show two extra photos, otherwise I would have loved to see more posters.
Since I hardly know a word of any of those languages I can't hear any difference, but for my job I had to learn the differences of the alphabets and transliterations.
In Stockholm the weather has been bad today, grey and wet and cold.

Ciao Malgo,the sun has returned to Warsaw but unfortunately in Ukraine it is late at night, no signs of peace, on the contrary ... Very interesting this street exhibition near the Russian embassy, and the 2 posters you show us are very original, great idea for the Russian bear crushing the yellow and blue lego while the other is much more artistic, creating a landscape bombed by the Ukrainian flag. In Italy there are more than 100 thousand Ukrainian refugees and in the meantime the landings of African ones have resumed in the south that no one wants to welcome. A good ideal to visualize through art the repudiation of the war in Ukraine, charming this girl posing in front of the bear poster.
The other two of the WS are interesting.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and magnificent composition; They are managed perfectly.

PS: meu passeio por pirenуpolis ainda tem uma ъltima foto amanhг, depois mostro a estrada.

I hope you're o.k. I sent a message through TE, but maybe it never arrived. Anyway, I really liked this photo when you first posted it, but I didn't have a chance to write a critique until now. The little girl with the pink coat and pink scooter grabs my attention, but it's the artwork that really pulled me in. The symbolism shows how a smaller country like Ukraine, or a small item like a Lego in this painting, can still have a large impact on someone bigger and supposedly stronger. Please take care...
