A fine close-up on this bird, which looks like a magpie to my untutored eyes. It stands out very well against the lush green background. Excellent rendering of the colours and detail in the plumage.

Very, very nice capture of this fine flying friend, you have got such amazing detail as he has turned to pose for you in a perfect profile. Your control over the depth of field adds a lot to the result.
These kinds of birds we see every day and never a second glance, but a photo like this allows us to appreciate how beautiful they are.

bardzo dobre zblizenie na sroczke, ktora wyraznie ni eboi sie obiektywu :-) Podoba mi sie jakosc kolorow i bardzo dobra ostrosc. Zywa zielen stanowi ladne tlo, a jego delikatne rozmycie uwydatnia jeszcze bardziej ptaka.

A crow, Barbara, not just a bird.
Beautifully taken the "portrait" of one common bird in Israel as well.
We have a large "family of them around my home, and when they start their typical squaks - the noise is terrible. Also, this specie is know to have an excelenmt memory, even to the point of chasing people they do not like...
Nice photojob done.
