Photographer's Note

Nine blocks (1, 2, 3, 12, 13, 14, 22, 23, 24) from October 1941 to March 1942 were fenced off camp for Soviet prisoners of war (Russisches Kriegsgefangen Arbeitslager). Gradually, it was placed in approximately 10 000 people, of which the liquidation of the camp lasted less than a thousand - moved them to an extended camp at Birkenau.
