Bydgoszcz is a city located in northern Poland, on the Brda and Vistula rivers. Bydgoszcz is the 8th-largest city in Poland. It has been the seat of Bydgoszcz County and the co-capital, with Toru, of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship since 1999.
Saint Andrew Bobola church.
The shrine was erected in 1901 1903 in the area of the ancient Castle Island, in the neogothic style, according to the design of berlin architect Heinrich Seeling. At first, it served as the evangelical church of the Holy Cross. In 1946 the building was transferred to the society of Jesus and renamed as Saint Andrew Bobola's church.
From 1967 it has served as a parish church.
