Photographer's Note

We have a marvellous winter now. This is the view of my street this morning. Nothing special, but it seemed improbable that we would see such big snow this winter. Quite a surprise. Nice to see but unfortunately, I have to remove this snow from the sidewalk :(.

We also have quite a lot of snow. It's a sunny day today but unfortunately also rather cold. Maybe I will take my camera for a walk after lunch, but I wouldn't find this kind of nice road with so many trees and gardens anywhere close to home. This is a very nicely sharp photo with a beautiful light.

Hi Malgo,

The length of the road is creating depth and perspective. The point of view is showing the details of the trees. The reflection of the light on the snow is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

I like nice winter pictures with snow, but I am a summer man, I've always cold in winter.
Nice depth and perspective, with the blue glow.

Hello Malgo,

This is just about as different as it is possible to get from your previous photographs!

Snow makes such a beautiful difference to scenes, no matter whether you like snow or not.
This is an excellent viewpoint, with a most effective guide line and snow-covered edges that look absolutely beautiful.

I love the view of the bird, is it a blackbird?
We have had a pair of reed buntings in our garden, never seen before. I wonder if this is another response to the changing climate.

Beautiful winder day with fresh snow on trees and the road. And above all you have sunshine. That has been rather rare here in Tampere since October. I actually like more of the window WS, giving idea of architecture on your neighbourhood.

in the main post we can imagine you live in a rural area. but the last WS did us an idea of a very green urban area. nice the visual effects of the snow. I saw snow twice but nothing a fresh snowy landscape... I thought maybe in siberia but when I was there is was hot. haha.
