Photographer's Note
Today I haven't gone far away in time and space. It is my small garden.
A few days ago we had a warm sunny day so I decided to remove the fallen leaves in my garden. Before doing it, I took some pictures.
My garden looks rather neglected and it is so. There are two interpretations of this fact: 1. I like the natural wild look where it grows what wants to grow. There are many weeds, like dandelions and daisies in summer, but I like them.
2. Other interpretation is that I am just lazy.
I like such a carpet of leaves but it was time to remove them before winter. I filled 15 big 120 l bags with them.
In the time of lockdown, such a small garden is precious. I have some guests there - red squirrels,
hedgehogs (I left a pile of leaves for them, maybe they will sleep there?), mice, cats, many birds.
One Workshop will follow.

Ciao Malgo, you are lucky to have red squirrels in your garden, an almost endangered species after the advent of the gray ones which are an invasive species. In fact the garden was very messy, but laziness often assails us ... hahaha .... however now it is clean waiting for the snow. Nice post in the WS with black and white cats. Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Hello Malgo,
This is very different from Monet's garden, but an impressionist painter might find inspiration here. There are so many colours and so many different plants. It looks basically like a very nice garden. I don't want to think of what mine would look like, if I had any. I'm glad you try to take care of the hedgehogs, so I hope they will spend winter safely under the pile of leaves.
Nice photo in the WS too. I suppose the black cat is your own and the white a visitor.
Kind regards,
Gert

Mi Malgo
I remember this garden! But it looks better later in the year with the Fall colours at their peak. Good sharpness and well framed and composed with a nice diffused light. Tfs!

Hi Malgo,
Your title is going well with the fall season. The point of view is showing the details of the trees and of the fallen leaves. The light is giving good colors rendering. Have a nice day.

Wonderful set of different colors on this well composed photo, Malgo, surely the fallen golden leaves made the work here.
Good afternoon,
Ike

Hello Malgo, there are some beautiful colours as the leaves fade and fall.
A very tidy garden is not necessarily the best for wild life, so no, I don’t think that you are lazy at all! We have grey squirrels, I would love it if we had red!
This would inspire an Impressionist style artist.
Thanks for sharing a picture from your home territory.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Malgo,
Like you, I have been collecting leaves up in the garden. It is necessary to remove them from the lawn but okay to leave them on the soil areas, where they help to keep the ground warm and eventually provide nutrition.
The autumn leaves do look lovely when they are colourful and crisp but do need collecting when wet and soggy!
Love the stand off with the cats!
I do miss ours, which died in April.
It is the first time we've been without a cat since we moved into our house in 1975! My friend's cat, which lives nearby, has begun visiting us, which it never did previously! Has it got a sixth sense ?
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Dear Malgo,
Today, we posted very similar topics. I posted from the People's Garden, while you from your own. Which is rather cosy, I have to say!
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hello Malgo,
In Belgium, many people like a large lawn in their garden. However, I think a garden in which other plants and shrubs grow is much nicer. It may also engage in a little 'wilder'.
Also in Warsaw most of the leaves have already been blown off and the autumn colours are now mainly found on the ground.
Nice picture in a good composition.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Malgo,
Nothing wrong with a wild garden and here it offers a very attractive autumn view with lots of fine colours, an appealing mix of orange, brown, green and yellow. Well composed, too.

malgo
you have a nice natural space around, something rare in a big town..nice details of your garden.
jorge

Hello MALgo,
Ha!3x As I'm typing this, looking at my garden.....
it's almost the same views like your picture shown.
Mine is more tidier cos I've just removed all the fallen leaves. I still have some flowers - a bit of colours.
I see that you've a lot of small pots in your garden which I would like to see your garden again in spring. Must be very beautiful as it's now...........
I have a pond too. So I've frogs, dragonflies except red squirrels or grey one. In the WS - I see you've cats. I do believe that cats are a bird's no.1 enemy and to smaller creatures too.
Well, you do have one fine cosy garden for a perfect time like this. Big or small , to have one , is precious.

Hello Malgo.
A tangle of vegetation in this composition, trees, shrubs, low plants and a golden carpet of fallen leaves, is a perfect image of autumn, the colors are also very varied.
A great photo, with very well managed both the lighting and the sharpness.
Well done. I like.
Have a happy week.
All the best for you.
Luis.
