Photographer's Note

This is a shot captured in april 2015. These buildings are located next to the fish market in Bergen. The window belongs to the building which in 1861-1862 was built as Bergen Stock Exchange. For many years, a bank was in this beautiful building. Unfortunately, I do not currently have a picture showing the whole building, but think that I will return to this in a separate post in the future. The tourist information office in Bergen also stayed here, while there are now restaurants in the building. Inside the building there are frescoes painted on the walls. These were painted by Axel Revold and are considered to be one of Norway's national art treasures.
