More containers, a photo from Hordaland, South

Photographer's Note

My previous post was a harbour scene from Dokken in Bergen and a ship loading containers. This is geographically not far away, but as you can see it is train this time and Bergen Godsterminal (Bergen freight terminal). There has also been different plans to move this activity from the city centre, but nothing has been effectuated so far. The terminal, which handles around 150000 TEU`s a year, has its current location next to the railway station and only a few hundred meters from Bryggen and the fish market. Photo catured with my cellphone August 2019.

Ett varmt ljus som detta kan fе till och med ett containertеg att se charmigt ut. Ljuset ger fдrgerna vдldigt vackra toner. Det lеnga tеget ger ocksе bilden fint djup, sе att containrarna lеngt borta i bakgrunden nдstan ser ut att smдlta samman med villorna pе bergssluttningen. Den svarta trucken i skuggan skapar en stark kontrast till den trivsamma atmosfдren i solskenet. Allting ramas fint in av bron och de grе pelarna.

Erling, the picture shows a transportation activity in Bergen. The containers are queueing on the rail tracks. A lifting machine on the right is used to carry them. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

Endnu et godt billede med masser af containere, men denne gang pе et godstog. Farverne er meget gode igen med en fine blanding af gul, grшn og blе i den lange rжkke. Kombinationen med husene i baggrunden er ogsе meget god.

Great container pattern, colours and shapes! Amazing POV and perspective for this wonderful visual but here is some work to be done shifting that lot. It makes for an interesting capture, wonder whats in them. Lovely shot, Congrats

this one put another smile on my face, too good, as I always say, these industrial scenes make for just as attractive photos as any other - yet most people ignore them. creative shot with this angle and pov to give long perspective, good color and warmth. I like it. cheers

Good evening Erling,
All kind of trains make a good objects for photography.
The light was directly at the freight wagons and brought out different colo9rs.
The inclusion of the houses built up the slope given daily-life scale to the scene.
The lift-tractor was a nice bonus to the whole, so did the concrete bridge framing from above. Nice applied photo.
