Hello David,
The light on the foreground provides pretty silver and light green tones on the foliage of the trees.
It makes a good strong contrast with the dark rock face in the shade on the background.

A wonderful photo from the edge of the fjords. The sunlight is magical and adds a gorgeous mood. They also stand out so well from the backdrop. Very well captured.

This could have been a very ordinary sight in a different kind of weather, but you were blessed with a fantastic light that made a total difference. The trees have a spectacular glow and stand out perfectly against the shady mountainside. Very well captured.

Hi David,i remember well the daily tour on the boat on the Bergen fjord,surely interesting but the view are always the same and i was a bit bored at the end of the day..ehhee..a perfect use of light position to bright up the trees in a perfect way,impressive sharpness and exposure too. Wonderful use of the backlight upon the trees, with the sheer cliff behind that added fine contrast to the scene.
Good scale achieved with the rocks and water up front.
