Photographer's Note

View from the same bridge as my previous upload, this time towards city of Tromsш. With population of about 65000 Tromsш is the third largest city north of the Arctic Circle.

It's a great view and a very nicely composed photo. You used the long pier perfectly. It looks like everything else is resting on it, from the boats to the mountains. The panoramic shape suits this view perfectly.

Hello Kari,
Everything in this view looks so orderly and neat. I like the way the marine is enclosed on two sides on the bottom of the frame. The architecture looks modern and colorful. You had a good POV to capture the city with the mountains behind it. Take care!

A great view of the city and I really like the wide panorama format of the composition. The marina makes a great foreground and the snowy mountains a great backdrop. The city looks great in between and in a lovely sunlight.

Great composition and well used panoramic format to make the most of the view: the marina, the houses and mountains in the distance. The remaining snow contrasts nicely with the blue sky which is also reflected in water to create perfect foreground for the city and background for the yachts.
I was there in January, looks so different in the sunshine!

A wonderful scenery from a high point across the bay and port towards the town and mountains.

Hello Kari,

I like this better than your previous photograph.
It has a very interesting, fixed f/g, as the marina is edged by the sea wall. Beyond are two further horizontal layers, first the city and then the mountains.
The exposure is perfectly crisp.

Hi Kari,

The city looks clean and inviting with its mix of old and new buildings basking in the sunshine. The neat little marina and the snow-capped mountains in the background add to this very attractive panorama. Excellent sharpness and exposure.

Hi Kari,
beautiful panoramic view of Tromso.
I would like to visit Norway someday but at the moment everything gets more complicated or even impossible.
I like the multiple layers of the composition here with the marine making a lovely foreground and the snow covered peaks at the very top.
