Photographer's Note
The Needle by Kenneth Snelson
The Needle tower is a slender, flexible tower that seems to disappear into infinity. The tower is constructed of steel cables and aluminium rods, which become increasingly smaller and thinner towards the top and appear to be floating. Seen from directly underneath, the structure forms a star-shaped web. (From the Museum Site)

Bonjour Viviane
A good upward pov with excellent sharpness and nice repetition of repeating patterns and shapes, each framing a smaller version further back. Tfs!

Hi Viviane,
Quite wonderful view through this tall piece of art. Indeed the star shaped form created by perspective is stunning. And Bev's version really showed me how lightweight this structure is.

Hallo Viviane
Great pov for the Needle Tower. The kind of shot where once you've seen it from this pov, it seems like there just is no other angle possible anymore. Tops!

Bonsoir Viviane!
What the hell is this? An artwork? A high voltage mast? Another technical device?
However: it as been manufatured perfectly, and you caught the best of all imaginable perspectives.
Une bonne sémaine

Hello Viviane,
Yes, the Kroller Muller Museum is an amazing place, containing an incredible range of art exhibits. The Needle tower was certainly amongst the most intriguing.
Like you, I was fascinated by this exhibit, floating as it was in the sky!
You have shown the star pattern so well, which is unimaginable when looking at it from a distance.
Lovely to see your photographs again.
Big hugs,
Bev 😊

Bonjour Viviane,
