Masked Lunch, a photo from Noord-Holland, South

Photographer's Note

A group of people having lunch or coffee in a cafe.
They were joyful and cheering all the time, so i couldn't help but made some photos of them. Finally, they noticed me and i also took them while waving hands...

Taken during a boat ride in Amsterdam canals. The cafe was just by the canal side.

Actually Amsterdam is not a postcard place, and there are much more interesting things to do than taking photos. This is one of the rare photos i made during my two days visit to the city.

Hello Denis! The photo has a peculiarity plays a theatrical history of the cafe but faceless persons with masks! But the expression is perhaps the most expressive and theatrical amateurs but with professionalism and with much charm!

I like this unusual and surreal scene. We don't often find a bunch of people, all wearing masks, sitting together in a cafe. Actually, I have never seen it before. :-) I like the way the woman on the far left has her whole body showing, and she is looking right at the camera. By the way, I was looking through your gallery and it is really great! Your photos are original, and very well-taken.

how could anyone NOT love a photo like this.
as the viewer, i'm finding myself scanning the entire image, looking closely at each individual one by one.
Seems like you have 2 looking straight at you, its a great scene!

What a strange scene. Only in Amsterdam! What a great photographic opportunity: this absolutely needed to be made. Even if you found better things to do than make images, I'm very glad you made this one. A great opportunistic grab-shot. Congratulations.
