Photographer's Note

Kaunas Old Town from the opposite side of Nemunas river. Photo was taken during the coldest night in many years - it was minus 27 degrees at the moment. The night sky is looks more clear during such extreme cold.

Wow, amazing shot Linas, the sharpness is very good thanks to the tripod and the lights reflecting on the river really work well, perfect exposure time well done!

Great photo - I love it.
I like the way the cool blue light on the bridge leads your eyes to a warmer light on the buildings.
Nice starburst effect on some lights also.

The most astonishing issue of your shot is for sure its incredible sharpness. An interesting postprocessing adjustment, in my opinion, is the digital blending (see Digital Blending ). If you were able to reduce the burning of the church on the left, you could really get the perfection.

Wonderful view over the city in winter.
I like these star-like lights.
-27 is quite cold, thanks God I have been there in summer;)
I guess the white tower on the left is the Town Hall...

Great shot. Good exposure. Almost looks like an HDRI image. The glow of light on the top-left of the image is realistic.

I also notice that not a single car has crossed the bridge in the opposite direction. A streak or two of red light would have worked wonders for this lovely shot.

There is a building to the right of the bridge, that has a smiley face. I find that amusing.
