This photo is dedicated to all women of TE. This is their special day.

It shows that woman and man can work together to achieve great thing, like trying to stop time... Or being able to pick-up a thing on the highest shelf of the bookcase... :-P)

Daylight Saving Time is also called Summer Time. For most parts of North America, daylight saving time begins tonight at 2am. In Europe, it will happen in 3 weeks, March 30th.

Incroyables ces courbes fйminines, malgrй la matiиre dans laquelle elles ont йtй taillйes... et tu les mets parfaitement en valeur а ton tour avec ce choix de profondeur.
Quant а ta note, elle nous fait passer de la galanterie, а l'humour pour arriver au pratique! Pas mal en si peu de lignes :-))

Hi charmant Andre!
You had a very nice idea for this shot, and it was well seen. The warm yellow tones of the building are a great background to the cold grey of the statues. The hand reaching up to time...I like that! A nice dedication well thought out and composed.

Hello Andrй,

Hmm, yes. What to say about that struggle?
Is he trying to break free, or is he trying to lift her up?
Is he helping or is he actually fighting her struggle?
Nice touch with her reaching for the clock, reaching for change through time.

I'm getting a bit tired of all those 'days'. We had international woman's day I believe.

The day before was the international day of giving compliments.
The rest of the week we had:
The international day of the abolishment of the death penalty (1st of March). St. David's day (1st as well). World 'read-a-book' day (2nd of March).
And next week we'll have the International Laughter day (14th), combined with the 'Titanic-sinking-commemoration-day'.... And on the 10th the International Commonwealth day I believe...

The impact of all these 'days' is a bit lost to me... :-)

Jolie dйdicace. Je retiens avant tout que le doigt de la femme ne touche pas tout а fait l'aiguille des heures. Un peu comme la main de dieu ne touche pas celle d'Adam dans le tableau de Michel-Ange qui se trouve dans la Chapelle Sixtine.

- oui je sais, si tu prends la tete tu n'as plus ce cadrage avec l'orologio..

Pas facile de "critiquer" cette photo. Je la trouve splendide. Tant pour la lumiиre que pour la prise de vue, pour ce qu'elle raconte, ce quelle m'inspire. En gйnйral c'est la musique qui arrive а me faire frissonner... Lа, ta photo le fait aussi.

The golden light is wonderful, Andre, but what I really love about this photo is the way you saw/ composed it, the angle that you chose in order to get the best of this beautiful sculptural work - speaking both in terms of visual impact & meaningful story. There is a certain tension (the body language) - an uneasy feel that moves me here.

Gйnial зa, ce monument en arriиre plan est un casse tete pour les photographes, tellement peu de recul et tellement haut, зa produit de sacrйes distortion pour qui veut essayer de le capter en entier ! Trиs originale, tu chatouilles euryan d'un point de vue originalitй pour ce lieu prйcis de Florence.
TRavail admirable sur le bokeh, ah c'est sur que quand je vois tes photos de Florence j'ai envie d'effacer les miennes lol
